fish tales

last week-end the boys and i were on our own since jake went to new mexico to do a little fishing. this is a pict of his big catch. yes, that is a real fish no fancy editing. the guide told him it was the biggest catch of the season. he had a lot of fun and i'm sure will be planning a repeat trip. he was gone thurs to sunday and we all missed him. however, as we were getting into the car after church dustin asked "where's dad?" i was like, seriously you've just noticed dad's gone. he said he was just wondering "where" he had gone but i noticed he had brought jake's scripture's. he's really good at grabbing scripture's if one of us forgets. i'm not saying that he doesn't love his dad it's just that he has a one track mind when it's the weekend and if video games aren't involved he might not notice. jake and i had a good laugh.

umm, who deleted that last comment. Dustin is great! I wish I could just relax and not have any worries. When we see each other it can be hours before Dustin appears from his zone or where ever he is.

Okay the question is funny! My little ones asked every day all day long while the boys played. Maybe one day the fishing trips will just feel like business as usual.

Nice catch Jake.
At least you know Dustin won't miss you when he goes on his mission. That's hilarious.
Hey, I tried commenting a while ago and it wouldn't go through so I decided to just post another time. that's funny if it said it was deleted.
